345th Bomb Group Missions Flown from Tacloban

The 345th Bomb Group moved to the Philippine island of Leyte during November 1944. After enduring kamikaze attacks while they sat on ships offshore, they made brief moves to airfields near Dulag and Tanauan before finally regrouping at the Tacloban airfield at the end of December.

A static map of the mission targets of the 345th Bomb Group while they were stationed in the Tacloban area, on the Philippine island of Leyte.

I found records for 126 missions flown from the Tacloban, Leyte area. Many were repeat visits to the same target areas, but on this map, only one marker is shown for each target.
