As noted in the previous post about the mission targets of the 408th Squadron, 22nd Bomb Group, the small scale of the original map made the result disappointing due to the lack of detail. In an attempt to alleviate that disappointment, I created individual maps for the missions originating from each airfield from which the squadron operated.
The resulting post apparently consumed too much memory and was slow to load up, so I have split off the individual airfield maps from that post and have moved them here. The maps are arranged in chronological order.
This series of maps does not display every mission flown, but instead shows a representative view of the locations targeted from each airfield. Mission data was derived from microfilm of the unit history of the 408th Bomb Squadron.
